Your First Class

What to Expect.

01

Warm Up & Fundamentals

Muay Thai class opens with a full-body warm-up — jump rope, shadowboxing, and movement drills. Then your instructor breaks down a technique: a jab, a teep, a low kick. Everything is taught with proper form from day one.

02

Pad Work & Partner Drilling

You'll work with a partner on focus mitts or Thai pads, drilling the technique until it's crisp. This is where Muay Thai gets real — you learn to hit hard and move fast in a controlled, safe environment.

03

Conditioning Finish

Every class ends with a conditioning circuit that pushes your cardio and builds functional strength. Muay Thai is one of the best full-body workouts you can find — and it never feels like exercise.

Common Questions.

Do I need to know how to fight?

Not even a little. Muay Thai is taught from the absolute basics. Your first class is all about stance, footwork, and a few fundamental strikes — nothing that requires prior experience.

Is Muay Thai too intense for beginners?

The intensity scales to your fitness level. Beginners work at their own pace; our instructors are experienced at calibrating difficulty so you're always challenged but never overwhelmed.

Will I spar in my first class?

No. Sparring is introduced gradually after you've built a foundation of technique and control — usually after several weeks of consistent training. Everything is done with safety first.

Is this a good workout even if I'm not interested in competing?

One of the best. Many of our Muay Thai students have zero interest in fighting — they come for the fitness, stress relief, and the skill of it. Competition is always optional.
